more totally outdated SGA ranting

I just watched "that" missing scene from Trio on the DVD, so …
This scene bugs the hell out of me. Yes, it actually acknowledges the moment Keller and Ronon had, thank you, but at the same time, it completely discounts it. Keller thought she had a moment, but she can't read the guy, so it was probably nothing, and she's moving on to the next candidate.
Meanwhile, Ronon has made a romantic overture for the first time ever on the show. Ronon, who was married to a woman that looked a lot like Keller, and was a doctor like Keller, and died horribly, is actually opening himself up to maybe feeling some of those things again. This is huge. But—well, his feelings clearly don't matter on the issue, so it was nothing. And a few episodes later, she's the love of Rodney's life. Ronon, who?
And, at the same time, we get Sam saying she's in a relationship with Jack. It's a twofer! I have to start out by saying that the Sam/Jack relationship bugged me for all the years they shoved it down our throats (no, not just because it messed with my OTP, I promise). But Sam finally matured sometime in the late seasons and realized that she fixated on Jack in part because he was unattainable and prevented her from having to actually be in a relationship. So an offhand comment that they're now involved and as soon as Jack retires she'll…what? Give up command of Atlantis, run home to Washington and be a housewife? This would have bugged me anyway.
But! But! Coming after the last episode of SG-1, just argh! She and Teal'c were practically married in that episode. I know, it wasn't acknowledged, but it's there. They hold hands, they clearly gravitate towards each other, both Tapping and Judge were playing that they were involved. So then the timeline gets changed and Sam doesn't remember. But Teal'c does. There's so much here! Why does he say nothing? Was it only convenience? I mean, Teal'c's lost the woman he spent the last half a century with, even though she's still there. The fact that they'd bring Carter over to SGA, then bring Teal'c for a visit, and never, never acknowledge Teal'c's feelings on the matter cheeses me off so much. I really like the two of them together, they're perfect for each other.
So let me recap. This scene shows us that:
-Ronon's feelings don't matter at all, only Keller's.
-Teal'c's feelings don't matter at all, only Carter's.
Hmmm… I'm sensing a trend here?
