So they do the first big medical drama plotline since season one...right after they kill Carson Becket. Way to go writers! Now, I love Jewel Staite, but that was the most pathetically unconvincing medical sequence I've seen in a long time.
As for the rest--I had one moment of sheer terror when I thought they were going to kill Zelenka. I'm not sure, but I might stop watching the show if they did that. Ronon would have been a more convincing woobie had he not been walking immediately after his injury. Did they really need him to be out of bed so early just to be an exposition dummy? And then why was he all tucked in when Sheppard came by? I have a sneaking suspicion, given the placement of the blanket, that the nurses put him in restraints.
I love McKay handling Sheppard-in-charge so badly. If only we were going to have a season of the two of them failing to work together. That would be fun. But on the bright side, after a decade, Carter finally has good hair. Thank god.
